Account and data deletion.

This page explains what we delete and how to ask us to delete it. You can request deletion whether or not you still have the app installed.


What we delete

Local-first means most of it never leaves your phone.

Duly is local-first. Your reminders live on your own device and never leave it unless you turn on Sharing. When you delete your account, we remove everything tied to it on our cloud provider (currently Supabase):

Reminders and data that only ever lived on your device are removed when you delete the app from that device. They are never stored on our servers.

If you still have Duly installed

Delete it from inside the app.

You can delete your account directly in the app. Open Duly, go to Settings, and choose the account deletion option. This removes your account and the cloud data listed above.

If you no longer have the app

No need to reinstall — just email us.

Deleted within 30 days

You do not need to reinstall Duly to delete your data. Email us from the address you used to sign in, with the subject "Duly account deletion request." We will verify the request and delete your account and the cloud data listed above within 30 days.
